Thrift Picks, Week of 2/17/13

Hey, vintage lovers! In the spirit of my New Year’s Resolution of regular blogging, I bring you my best finds over the last week, 2/17/13. I’m hoping I can keep up the good work!

Scored my first piece of “Historic” Blenko, a Wayne Husted 565 Ship decanter for only $10 at an auction warehouse sale. Can’t believe it hadn’t been snapped up yet when I found it.

At the same warehouse sale I got four of these 1970s Botium chairs for only $200. Designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny S°rensen, they’re constructed of sturdy laminate bentwood and have the original wool cushions. I love the shape and they look awesome in the living room. I’ll sell the other two on Craigslist.

Lucked out and found this SUPER CLEAN vintage Chloe bag for $5!

Vintage 1960s Tip-N-Rok. Baby Eames!

Vintage 1970s Impromptu crystal from Lenox, sophisticated and underrated.

Super fun and HUGE Haeger console bowl complete with candle holders.

Flavio Poli Seguso double sommerso vase.

Original Barrett DeBusk wire sculpture!

And possibly the best find of the week, other than the chairs, a massive ceramic bowl from Design Technics!

In other news, the Lalique Madonna sold in less than a week. Can’t wait to find another one!

So my goal of 100 new listings for February will likely not be met, but I have added 60 new super awesome listings at Temple of Vintage.
